Our Story

A Serendipitous Meeting

Our paths first crossed on a sun-drenched afternoon in Bellagio. She was sketching the lakeside villas, while he was photographing the mountains reflected in the water. A sudden summer shower sent everyone scurrying for cover, and we found ourselves sharing a table at a small café, watching the rain create ripples across the lake. What began as casual conversation about art and travel evolved into hours of talking as if we'd known each other forever. By the time the rain stopped, we both knew something special had begun.

From Lake Como to Love

Despite living in different countries, we found ways to see each other again and again. Weekend trips to European cities, long phone calls that lasted until dawn, and countless messages that bridged the distance between us. We discovered shared passions for travel, food, and the simple joy of watching sunsets together. With each meeting, our connection deepened, and we realized that what we had found was rare and worth fighting for. After a year of long-distance romance, he moved to be closer to her, and our adventure together truly began.

The Proposal

Three years after our first meeting, we returned to Lake Como for what she thought was an anniversary trip. As the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold, he suggested a boat ride to see the lake from the water. In the middle of the lake, with the historic villas glowing in the evening light, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. With happy tears and the lake as our witness, she said yes. It felt perfect to begin our engagement where our story first began—on the magical shores of Lake Como.

Coming Full Circle

Now, as we prepare to say our vows in the place where it all began, we can't help but feel that our story has come full circle. Lake Como has been the backdrop to the most significant moments in our relationship, and we couldn't imagine celebrating our wedding anywhere else. We're overjoyed to share this special place with our closest friends and family, and to begin the next chapter of our lives together surrounded by the beauty of the Italian lakes and the love of those who mean the most to us.
